I’m sure you already know, but my name is Charlie, and I’m a brand designer based in Chicago, IL.
I was originally drawn to branding out of a desire to design logos. I have a background in illustration and animation (I studied at Ringling College of Art & Design), so designing visually appealing logos was a fun hobby of mine. Inspired by brand designers on social media, I expanded my hobby into something more substantial. Currently I work as a freelance brand designer for local business owners in the Chicagoland area. I try to incorporate my illustration background into every brand I touch, even if just a little.
Outside of work, I love sketching and designing characters for animation, bothering my cat Maisie, and watching trashy reality tv with my roommate. I recently got back into reading, and would love to hear any suggestions you might have!
